Although TechnoMarine’s rise to the top in the competitive world of Swiss watchmaking has been relatively recent, their decade of breakthroughs in daring and groundbreaking design has already cemented their place in history. By combining breathtaking French design with the best of Swiss technology they continue to produce some of the most interesting and personal high-end timepieces ever created.

TechnoMarine was founded in 1997 with the launch of the "Raft", a chronograph on a transparent plastic strap, selling 50,000 models in its first year and creating an entirely new category of luxury fashion timepieces, one which triggered a revolution in the luxury watch industry. Initially conceived as a "vacation souvenir watch", the "Raft" paved the way for a new generation of fine timepieces.

In 1999, TechnoMarine added diamonds to the rotating bezel of the "Raft", and the "TechnoDiamond" was born, the first ever combination of diamonds on a diving chronograph with an interchangeable gel strap. The industry claimed that the idea was "insane", and TechnoMarine single-handedly managed to revolutionize the market with a product born of the never-before conceived and almost "sacrilegious" association between plastic and diamonds. More than 150,000 models were sold while thousands of look-alikes began to flood the market.

The name TechnoMarine became synonymous with unbridled creativity and individual sophistication, strong character and product integrity. The company has formed a niche in the combination of fun and sophistication, a revolutionary concept in a mostly conservative industry. The "TechnoDiamond" became a watch which represented a certain lifestyle that people wanted to be identified with.

In 2003, once again TechnoMarine broke the industry mold, with the launch of the "Maori" line and its signature triangular-shaped case and striking tribal design. The following year brought even more technically challenging and artistically inspiring lines: from the brand’s first exclusive Tourbillion models to the exquisite watches of the Color Ceramic Collection, another industry first from TechnoMarine.

Since then, in addition to the extension of the brand’s flagship Color Ceramic Collection to men’s models and its latest "Square Ceramique", TechnoMarine has created best-sellers through exclusive winning partnerships with General Motors’ Hummer®, legendary free-diver Umberto Pelizzari, and the US Navy.

With the recent introduction of a high-end watch line, "RoyalMarine", the TechnoMarine collection offers today a range of products to meet an ever-expanding global consumer base, all executed in TechnoMarine’s signature combination of luxury, fashion and fine watch-making.
